Red Belt

This movie shows a sincere martial artist caught in a world of "martial arts politics." Sad but true. I have my own experience with the politics of the arts and the superficial instructors and school owners who attempt to pad the score so their students win the plastic trophy. Red Belt is a good demonstration of this. After almost 40 years teaching and owning a Korean based school, I closed the school and entered training in a Wing Chun school. Knowing nothing about Wing Chun gave me a fresh start and revitalized my training.
